Spinning

There are times when we do not even understand how fast time is going. We are spinning around the same topic(s) and slowly cannot see anything else just those. Perhaps it is family and school, or family and work, whatever it is, you are spinning and the more you do - just as the centrifugal force works - it takes all tasks, thinking to the outskirts of your perimeter in a much faster pace. Additionally, it means you become de-centralised.  There is no more ‘me’ or ‘I’, there is only that radius lane which are filled with stuff and between you and that crowded space there is vacuum, there is nothing: you cannot find yourself.

Just remember, when you were a kid, and an adult spin you holding your hands and you felt that your legs are superfast but as your head was still near to the adult, you did not get too dizzy, you just enjoyed the ride… So imagine that with the adult would hold your legs and your head is outside in the fast lane… Totally different, right?

I love cartoons and I always learn so much from them, however silly it sounds 😉 Recently watched Secret life of pets 2.

So tiny-dog gets totally stressed out by trying to protect the new human in their lives: a baby. This task is overwhelming and he is just spinning on an overprotective way that he has to control everything, but of course he cannot.

Then they go on a holiday to a farm where everything is new and it totally freaks him out even more as it is not enough that he cannot protect his little human, but he is on a totally new territory that he has no clue about.  Weird smells, noises, animals…

Here comes (Harrison Ford – who would not be calmed down by Mr Ford?!!?) and says, hey there is no such a thing as protection, you need to chill, here is the situation so what are you going to do?

Woah, what?! Revelation! It is not always that words can have profound reaction, however when you see it in an entertaining format such as an innocent animation movie, it always works for me.

This is why it is so important to keep to our routines, to get out and have a walk, gym, coffee with a friend, to get different perspective, give a break to that spinning, give a break to your Soul. Not all of us can mediate, but all these things are having the same effect - you are off those topics.

The focus should always remain on yourself, your own health and well-being keeping you centred, more productive, balanced and maybe even happier.
